Whilst we're talking about food, here are a few other outstanding eateries in Pennsylvania that I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting...
The Collegeville Diner is, funnily enough, exactly what it says on the menu. It is a diner, in the town of Collegeville. Mind you, don't go in here expecting chrome, bar stools and quaint roadside charm. This is a serious restaurant, serving some serious food. It is popular, busy, reasonably-priced and the food is out of this world. The only problem I faced here was choosing something from their amazing selection.
The Mesa Mexican Grill at the Gateway strip mall in Wayne PA is well-known in the area for being rather good eating. And it's cheap too, which is always a good thing ;-)
Eat in or take out the food will have you coming back for more.
If you ever happen to be in the Malvern/Paoli area, check out Casey's Dugout. As you probably guessed, there is a little baseball-themed stuff going on there, but don't let that put you off. The owner can be a bit of a miserable git too but the food is truly awesome. Once you've had your face around a Babe Ruth Burger, you will not be disappointed. I think that it is probably the best burger anywhere on the planet.
In Exton PA, try Donato's. They have a weird thing where you have a phone at the table, which is a little on the weird side but the pizza is excellent.
A couple of classics...
Domino's Pepperoni pizza is by far the best anywhere. I don't know what they do to it, but it is fine! And I do rather like those cheesy fingers too...
What can you say about the HRC? Well, simply, the Pig Sandwich is a must try oral delight. Wash that Pulled Pork down with a couple of pints of Sam Adams and the world is undoubtedly a much nicer place to be.
