USS Cassin Young - 10th April 2005

OK. I make no excuses for this one. It's big, it's made of metal, it has huge guns and the word 'destroyer' in the title. It's a bloke thing.
Yes, the USS Cassin Young is WWII Destroyer. Like I said, it's a bloke thing.
The ship is named after a war hero whose gallantry and bravery at Pearl Harbor, and later death in action during the Battle of Guadalcanal, earned him the Navy Cross. The USS Cassin Young was commissioned in 1943 in his honour.
